ODIE S.A. company, according to the provisions of A.N.598 / 1968 (A 256), holds the exclusive right of mutual horserace betting management and conduct.

The horserace betting is takes place in the Markopoulos Racecourse or in special betting agencies.

Since 2003, ODIE SA is based in Markopoulos, the new race track, built for the 2004 Olympics. It has a branch in Athens and works within a 550 OPAP agencies network.

In early 2013, Greek government started a contest to grant the exclusive right to exploit horserace betting. Until the new operator signs the contract with the Greek government, ODIE SA continues, according to law, to organize and conduct horseracing betting in the country.
